Romantic Wellness
April is my favourite month in Noordwijk. Tulips colour the fields, swallows and terns return, and the evenings grow light again.
Keukenhof opened on 20 March that year, marking the start of the bulb-flower season around Noordwijk.
We put together this 2015 calendar for guests who wanted to catch the flowers, parades and markets.
20 MARCH 2015
Keukenhof opened for the season with Van Gogh as its theme.
25-26 APRIL 2015
The Bulb Flower Parade, or Bloemencorso, had '200 years Kingdom' as its theme.
24-26 APRIL 2015
Holland's Most Beautiful Traffic Jam, De Mooiste File van Nederland.
16 MAY 2015
The International Historical Tulip Rally finished in Noordwijk.
13-14 JUNE 2015
Markt onder de Linden, with plants, flowers, homeware, food and drinks in historic Noordwijk Binnen.
8-9 AUGUST 2015
The Rijnsburg Flower Parade.
5-9 AUGUST 2015
The flower festival at Kapel aan Zee.
